Why "Sepher Software"?

When founding my company in 1991, I was immediately drawn to the association with the word "Sepher".

My main association was with a Talmudic wisdom tradition, which formulated a concept called the Tree of Life, in Hebrew Sepher Sephiroth.

The graphical representation clearly shows the association of the circles, moving in a numerical sequence from the top (beginning with Kether, associated with the number 1, and ending with Malkuth, associated with the number 10). Our decimal numerical system is founded on the semitic names of the numbers, and the word "cipher" has correspondence with the Hebrew Sepher. So
